not working on 3G

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.connect to my ssh server activate global proxy
2.no error is returned, so the connection is successfully

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
when i check the browser to see my IP, its still my 3G carrier IP and not my 
ssh server IP
my device is rooter, i have IPTABLES installed, and no error is returned
how should i investigate further? 


What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
version 1.5.6
android 4.2.2
Samsung SGS2 i9100

Please provide any additional information below.
my 3g apn is configured trough a proxy

I supposed it depends on your OS, but I had to enable socks proxy & DNS proxy 
in order to successfully browse over ssh.
