Many ski resorts do have chairlifts (not gondolas or skilift) and having such icon would help differentiate the aerialways better on the map.

The OSM tags are as follow :
aerialway:occupancy:chairlift
aerialway:chairlift:occupancy
oneway:chairlift

Could be based on https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Map_icons_by_Scott_de_Jonge_-_chairlift.svg
