[Portugal] Adding missing buildings in Porto

Background

As part of on-going work to improve the quality of OpenStreetMap data, we recently received the feedback from the user about the huge number of buildings in Porto missing on OSM.
Our plan is to review most of missing buildings in Porto and add them on OSM. There's a link to the OSM Wiki page.

We are going to start review on 13th of December.

Timeframe

13 - 17th of December.

Tools

We will use #hashtag for the project #mapbox_building_pt

Editor: iD or JOSM

Satellite Imagery: Orthophotos of mainland Portugal - 25cm - 2018 (DGT), Maxar, Esri.

Street Level Imagery: Mapillary, other open sources if available.

We have completed the process of adding missing buildings in Porto.
Timeline: 12/13-01/10 (14 working days, due to Christmas holidays).
Results: added 4765 buildings.
