Update to NYSE and New York FED calendars following Juneteenth National Independence Day Act
Update NYSE and New York FED calendars following Juneteenth National Independence Day Act
Jun 30, 2022
Following the Juneteenth National Independence Day Act, Juneteenth is now a federal holiday (https://www.cnbc.com/2021/06/17/juneteenth-federal-holiday-biden-signs-bill.html). The Federal Reserve Bank of New York (FED) and the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) calendars must be updated.
Juneteenth will be observed every year on June 19th from 2022 for both calendars. If June 19th falls on a weekend, the holiday will be observed on the closest working weekday. See https://www.officeholidays.com/holidays/usa/new-york/juneteenth.
