JavaScript syntax highlighting fails with a specific regular expression #2141

We just got a report (bug 957403) that syntax highlighting fails on the following regular expression: /([!"#$%&'()*+,./:;<=>?@\[\\\]^{|}~])/g` I don't know regular expressions very well but I think the un-escaped slash in the middle belongs to the characters list and thus doesn't need to be escaped.

The bug linked above has a screenshot and a full file (some Microsoft library) to reproduce the issue.
