Description

Hashtags don't disappear from the table of contents even after you finished writing the header. If you save the file and open it again the hashtags are no longer there.

  • Can you reproduce the issue?

Steps to reproduce

  1. Write any header inside a markdown (ex: "test")
  2. Go write a paragraph below.
  3. Take a look at the table of contents, there are some "#" before the name of the header.
  4. Save the file, close it, and open it again. Now the "#" are no longer there as it should've been.

Expected behavior:
No "#" before the header name in the table of contents after I finish the header.

Actual behavior:
Some "#" before the header name in the table of contents after I finish the header.

It may have been fixed in #2857. Please check if it still exists in 0.17.0
