How do I preserve my view, tabs, and sidebar settings? #2529

Question description

When I open the program, set a few settings, then close it all the sidebars and settings disappear. This is a bit annoying for me. Is there a way to retain these settings? Did i miss something?

It would be great to set tabbar to automatically hide.
