Cursor behaviour when pressing up at the start of a file.

Description

This is related but different from #3192.

The behaviour of the cursor does not quite match the cursor behaviour in other apps. This issue is about the behaviour when pressing up in the very first line of a file.

• Can you reproduce the issue?

Steps to reproduce

1. enter some text in the very first line of a file
2. position the cursor anywhere in this line of text
3. press the up arrow key

Expected behavior:

The cursor moves to the start of the line.

Actual behavior:

The cursor does not move.

The expected behaviour occurs in virtually all other macos apps, and I think also in most apps on other platforms.
