Are keyboard shortcuts supported in Source Code Mode?

Keyboard shortcuts do not work in source code mode

Is there a deliberate decision to ignore keyboard commands/shortcuts in source code mode? They work perfectly in "normal," and typewriter modes, both with and without focus.

In source code mode, they don't work at all. They don't work from the keyboard, nor from the menus. As someone who likes to see the inner workings on the page, the lack of keyboard commands is frustrating.

My environment is: Macbook Pro 16" 2023, Apple M2 Pro, running Ventura 13.6.2
