Hi I realized that

  1. favicon is not displayed
  2. title bar is missing (so we cannot copy any URL where we are)
  3. extensions are not loaded (cannot autocomplete password)

~$ lsb_release -a
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS
Release: 20.04
Codename: focal

~$ firefox --version
Mozilla Firefox 96.0

For 1 and 2, that's pretty much by design. See #1.

For 3, that's by design. Each extension gets its own clean and separate Firefox profile.

for 2 i agree, but for 1 this is not discussed in #1
there is no favicon for the current app webpage that is display, its a big hastle
even chromium snap version cannot do that, only the apt version displays the correct favicon, snap version displays only chromium icon for all apps

Ah, you mean you get the Firefox icon? I can reproduce that when running in X11, and have added a fix. So try reinstalling the webapp with the latest version. Hopefully it'll help for (1).

Thank you @marten-de-vries

i will try sooner or later
at the moment i use chromium and it runs out of the box if you install via apt (doesn't work with snap), i wanted to avoid installing chromium, but i did so already... so i gave mozapp a chance :)

i would wait also until the URL topic (1) is solved with the title of the window

I think some could need a possibility to switch that on or off if the window is by design without a title,
for me its usually an easy task to copy paste an URL also from a WebApp window for my daily routine.

so there are three dots somewhere in the titlebar of a WebApp based on chromium, see following screenshot

Thank you
