Modifications for Shiny

Guten Abend,
I won't embarrass myself by trying any more German than that, but you are clearly proficient enough in German that I'm sure it won't be a problem.
I have successfully reproduced most of this for securing a Shiny app, but when I get navigated to the Shiny app after authentication, the app is stale. Presumably this is because the app is not getting any input from the browser, but I'm unsure of a way to fix it. Refreshing does not (presumably because that refreshes the connection to nginx, but does not request anything additional from the shiny app?). What needs to be adjusted to use this setup for a shiny app?
