As a player, I should be able to rename the player name that tracks my progress.

Now with the website online, www.osrs-discord-bot.com, I am generally more inclined to simply write an FAQ about this. It really is as simple as removing the old name and adding the new one.

However, maybe I'll keep this open. In the end, something like the following would be a nice addition:

!osrs rename xofy faerin

Some side effects will need to be taken into account:

  • How does this affect their "history"?
  • Since users are shared across multiple servers, this would cascade, potentially unintentionally, and could be used maliciously.
