Crash or freeze when open some specific files #44
Comments
Works ok for me on gentoo and atril 1.6.1. What distro is this on? |
Debian Wheezy. I don't know there was a version 1.6.1 around... I use 1.6.0. |
Also on my wheezy vm I can't reproduce this with the file provided. It could be hardware problems, try running memtest and see if it comes up with memory problems. |
How can i compile Atril 1.6.1? I used autogen.sh, but MAKE said to me to STOP. I will test memory anyway too. |
There isn't anything special in 1.6.1 but you are welcome to try and build, http://wiki.mate-desktop.org/Building. Can you get a backtrace of the crash? |
Thx by the link. I don't know how to do a backtrace :/ |
For debian use https://wiki.debian.org/HowToGetABacktrace |
I desist... I cant compile, cant backtrace, desist. Thak you all. |
ATRIL crashes or freezes some seconds after open some specific files. ATRIL open most of my PDF files, but some of them crashes or freezes ATRIL. I scroll down/up with the sidebar or select some bookmark, then it crashes or freezes (it freeze most of times, sometimes crash).
I tested to open this file in:
I did a: "sudo aptitude reinstall atril atril-common", but it still happens.
