Expected behaviour

I have set the powersave governor. It should show a fixed number at 798.

Actual behaviour

It jumps around between 798 and 800

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

It's a bit off in general. On my system, with the powersave governor, the real frequency oscillates very close to 798,5. I think, the applet rounds up to 800 when above 798,5 and to 798 when bellow 798,5. It's a cursed CPU.

MATE general version

1.26.0

Package version

1.26.1-1

Linux Distribution

Debian 12 64-bit

This seams to be your fault.

Extra

It's annoying, because superficially it looks like the powersave it's not on. It's distracting by requiring more mental effort to keep track of the status of the frequency (did i set it? or did i forgot?). It's a bit off in general, but specifically for powersave, it's annoying.

I think, instead of rounding, it should simply drop the decimals.
