Remove horizontal panel

The horizontal panel is redundant.

A clear and concise description of what you want to happen. If you can, offer an explanation on how it could be implemented.

Add an option to remove the horizontal panel to free up screen space. This will give and almost border less feeling IMO.

If the horizontal panel can not be removed then I don't have an alternative solution.

Highly agree on this. I've just switched to this shell and was sad that you can't do that. I did that always on my default gnome. Hope this gets implemented!

If you can work without the vertical panel, toggling with Super - Esc is your friend.
