Creating an entry for launching a disc in order play gamecube games, or
games you don't want to install for some reason would be a good addition.

Yes, wii dvd and gamecube disc launching would be very appreciated. In fact I
use
neogamma all the time for it's 3-in-1 solution. If only wiiflow could do that
aswell
(atleast launching wii dvd) there would be no reason not to use it.

there is already a forwarder for loading Wii games via DVD-Drive

its based upon libwiigameload, you will however need cIOSCRAP for it to work
100% and
it will load in exactly the same way as the Disc Channel, no patchs or hacks r
applied

I'd also like to see the ability to launch a disc from wiiflow. I boot straight
into
wiiflow using preloader and rairly ever go into the wii system menu. I'd like
to play
games like COD3 from disc or gamecube backups an don't want to have to go to
preloader
then system menu just to run them.

Agree with above. I use WiiFlow via PreLoader autoboot and hate exiting it just
to
load GC backups and Wii Backups not on my HDD. Please add support for this.

newest version of usbloadergx has this feature "r807". the code is open source
so maybe
someone could use this or at least have the general idea. I tried it and
gamecube game
loaded perfectly. I powered down and returned to usbloadergx. Great feature but
I hate
usbloadergx gui and love this one. If this could be added that would be
fantastic.

This is just almost the best loader. The only thing missing is being able to
launch
a Wii dvd/disk from within Wiiflow. Adding this would make this the best hands
down.

Like mentioned above, please add the option to launch a wii disk from within
wiiflow.

Thanks for Wiiflow and your hard work and time.

I've tried to use the mentioned libwiigameload forwarder ISO, but it caused
code
dumps in almost all cases. Even if it launch the (original) discs (it happens
rarely
and randomly), errors may occur. (half success with Sports Resort - disc
starts, but
causes error #002 soon) So this is not a working solution, I guess.
Disc start feature still needed... ;)

p.s.: sorry for the prev. "mee too" post... :/ Now I'noticed the instruction
here on
the right.

Please use the code form usb loader gx to add channel loading and maybe even
emulated nand channel loading from the usb hard drive. And in this menu add the
much
needed dvd luncher. Thanks for all the hard work.

I tryed adding it myseft but failed. However I did add the channel button to
option that comes up when no games are found. So I can start the media channel
on a hard drive with no games on it. The controllers do not turn off when U
turn off the system using the power button on the wii.

I tryed adding the mount dvd comand to the home button but I am still not adding
every thing I need to. So please show us how it is done and add dvd button so we
can start playing dvd games from the loader. Thanks for all the hard work.

well there is already code in wiiflow to check dvd/mount/open/etc for dvd, its
part of the install/delete/format switch. Anyways, after that it should be
pretty simply by what I saw in other sources. The problem for me will be
applying patches xD..

I looked more at usbloader gx code and they added alot of files when they added
the
disk loading. However I am still have problems. But if U go back to the usbloader
gx code to when they added the dvd support and start form there U sould be able to
mimic it. Great work on the controllers, However on R101 every time I pick a game
it moves one game to the left of the game I pick. But your work is going great. Thanks.

Done in r106. When a disc is inserted it shows an icon next to the channels
button if it can be read.
