SVN Repo installer locks up xbmc

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Built xbmc from svn on Oct 16 2009 (SVN:23776M)
2. Install SVN Repo installer 1.7.5 from google code website.
3. SVN Repo installer asks to update - successfull
4. SVN Repo installer will now locks up xbmc if you try to install any plugins.

If I leave SVN Rep installer at 1.7.5 everything works fine.

Built on Debian Lenny Linux.

I believe this problem was fixed.
Please test with HEAD and most recent version of SVN Repo Installer

Still broken with SVN Repo Installer 1.8.3b. Installing any plugin causes XBMC 
to
crash. Old version 1.3.5 works fine.

I had a similar bug on debian sid amd64, I can confirm that upgrading from SVN
Installer 1.8.2b to the linked beta it fixed the bug for me.
