I have to monitor IIS intranet sites where I cannot add javascript to the web pages for the analytics. I have to use web log analytics. There is no way to capture the cs-username in IIS. This is essential for intranet monitoring because the business wants to know specifically who is using the websites and how much time they spend using it.
