Bug: User online status shows "offline" in Boards until updated

Steps to reproduce the behavior

1. Open the Mattermost Desktop App (tested on v5.0.4)
2. Note that user status on the Channels tab shows you are logged in
3. Select the Boards tab
4. User status shows you are not logged in / offline.

Note: This also repros in Chrome. The user state on Boards always shows "offline".

Expected behavior

User status in the Boards tab should always match the one in the Channels tab

• Browser and OS: Chrome on Mac and Mattermost Desktop 5.0.4

Additional context

If you change your status in Channels, the status is updated correctly in the Boards tab.
However, if you refresh the Boards tab, it shows "offline" again.

Note: This doesn't repro 100% of the time for me. When refreshing the Boards tab in Chrome (against community-daily), I see this issue maybe 80% of the time.

Addressed by mattermost/mattermost-webapp#9288

This is fixed now when running boards as a product.

My bad, it still doesn't work when opening boards in a different tab.
