Flicker of Board template picker when switching boards

Is there anything quick we can do to prevent the template picker view from displaying while it's switching boards? It's disorienting and confusing and we should just have a simple loader during this state if it takes a bit of time to switch boards. See the GIF interaction here as a reference.

It's definitely still happening on the community server for me, but I'm not exactly sure how to troubleshoot the problem. This is what I'm experiencing when switching between boards on different teams.

@matthewbirtch could this be an issue where it only affects enterprise servers? I'm not sure of the status of the community server but I remember trying to work on another issue a few ago where I couldn't replicate it on my local host due to being limited to a non-enterprise server.
