Unable to run app in Pi due to DefaultFirebaseOptions.dart

When deploying the app and attempting to run the app in the Raspi, the system gives the following error:

[ERROR:flutter/lib/ui/ui_dart_state.cc(209)] Unhandled Exception: Unsupported operation: DefaultFirebaseOptions are not supported for this platform.

We are able to fix momentarily by not using the DefaultFirebaseOptions.dart and changing line 11 in /lib/main.dart from options: DefaultFirebaseOptions.currentPlatform, to: options: DefaultFirebaseOptions.web,
