Strange CSS/Rendering Issue in Production #537

I'm having a weird issue where some CSS properties are displaying differently when in production. Drop down menus have strange padding added to the left hand side, and heights don't seem to be the same as when just running npm start. Did not happen with older versions

Closing this because it seems like it was an issue related to materialize (the front-end framework) I was using. I put in angular material components and things started working
