Is there an update for R2 presigned URLs?

Hello. Is there an update for R2 presigned URLs usage I just received an email from Maxmind about? I checked the release notes for recent releases but I don;t see a note about this. Thanks.

Yes, we will be doing a new major version that will redirect to R2 URLs. Old versions will continue to work without redirecting.

Will older versions still work after April 24 when R2 presigned URLs are used?

Yes, old versions of geoipupdate will continue to work without redirects for the foreseeable future. The next major version of geoipupdate will use paths that redirect. The change will be noted in the release notes and people can upgrade at their convenience.
