First, I appreciate your work on this tool. I use it several times a year.

Second, I'm trying to figure out how to split my pdf pages. An old thread on this that indicates this is possible with the original briss is here: https://askubuntu.com/a/56858/241361 However, I cannot figure out how to get two rectangles per page as indicated. Am I missing something?

Hey, @mikegilchrist

What happens when you load your PDF? Do you see the two rectangles? Can you draw a second rectangle when dragging your mouse in the preview pages? If you could send screenshots of what you see, that would be helpful as well.

Cheers

When I load the file, I get two boxes, but they are on the 'even' and 'odd' pages, not within one. This is what I see
briss2-cant split page. I am trying to get two boxes on a single page.

Doah! I just discovered (as you suggested) I can create a second rectangle by clicking on the page. How naive of me. I was looking for an option in the drop down menu or right-click. I'm going to close this. Thanks again for maintaining this.

Yeah that is unfortunately very unintuitive right now. And this should be easier to do. I can imagine a menu would help or even some action items.
