The people have spoken. There is a request for a new feature

Run diff logic before a save to determine if anything has changed
Create a new snapshot of the playlist with time stamp.
Update the landing page to show weekly snapshots.

Maybe there could be a new dropdown button that would allow for downloads

I can use the snapshot_id from the API

https://developer.spotify.com/web-api/get-playlist/

The version identifier for the current playlist. Can be supplied in other requests to target a specific playlist version: see Remove tracks from a playlist
