Describe the bug
Using the Brep to Directshape component parts of this object comes back as a mesh. Why? I have looked at scale and distance from 0. This does not fix it.

It is the conical ends of the pipe that are a problem.

Here is the original post: https://discourse.mcneel.com/t/creating-directshapes-while-skipping-problematic-geometry/107899/16

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open Rhino file
  2. Run attached GH definition

Expected behavior
Can we get a Brep?

I notice that using the Loft function between two circles gives better results than using the revolution function of a rectangle

By using the Loft function pssant by 4 circles reconstructed with the option Tight and closed I manage to obtain a result not facetized in REVIT

Cool, this is rational surfaces problem. Using Loft or the Deformable=Yes option on Sweep workaround this. @kike-garbo will need to decide if there is anyway to convert this in the background, or discover any secret ways to get rational surfaces into Revit.
