The --live option, which passes "True" to the "live-source" option on the stream muxer is an attempt to remedy this, but doesn't entirely solve the issue with all sources.

Ideas:

  • sink properties may help (sync)
  • change the way batch size is set (and/or other properties) to match nvalhalla since it doesn't appear to suffer from this

Workarounds:

  • Adding more sources seems to help.
