Microsoft Edge is the second most used browser on the web, making the browsing experience more flexible, offering many more services for users and optimized for Windows devices.

Now, Microsoft Edge is 99% compatible with Chroimum project and shares same API and most of UX solutions. Apps, websites and extensions running in Microsoft Edge are secured and ready for enterprise insfrastructure, as well as for most users in the world. since compatability for extensions is 100%, Edge can run extensions from other stores for Chromium-based browsers.

But to offer a native solution and benefit from native Edge extensions store, developer can publish the extension to Microsoft Edge Store. It is an easy process that described there. Learn about steps that require publishing an extension and try it out!

Hello,

Sorry for the delay I haven't had much time to work on the extension recently. Honestly I'm using chrome and I don't really take time to test features thoroughly on firefox (< 10% of all users), so I'm not really interested in adding a new browser even though it is supposed to be compatible. As an user when I see an extension on a store I assume the developer is testing and maintaining it, which I don't feel like doing right now with Edge.

If you really want to use the extension, as edge is supposed to be compatible, you can download the extension via the Github releases and add it using the equivalent of developer mode on Chrome.

Hi @Kenya-West,

Just to add to what you mentioned about publishing Microsoft Edge extensions, if there are any issues developers face with the submission process or if there is anything unclear about how the publishing process, Microsoft Edge extensions team is available to help!

They can be contacted at links mentioned here - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/extensions-chromium/publish/contact-extensions-team.

I hope this information helps.

Thank you!
