In media_native.dart there is this code:

            httpHeaders ?? cache[normalizeURI(resource)]?.httpHeaders {

    cache[uri] = _MediaCache(
      extras: this.extras,

As you can see, normalizeURI is being called three times instead if calling it one and reuse its value.
