A bug when upgrading the mediawiki to 1.23

Hi.
I'm having a problem with this Extension (v3.8.4), and need help.
A little while ago the calendar was working fine, however, after I upgraded the 
mediawiki to 1.23, it stopped working.
The wiki is giving me this message:
"Warning: trim() expects parameter 1 to be string, object given in 
/var/www/mediawiki-1.23.0/includes/PrefixSearch.php on line 53"
and I don't have a clue for fix.
Any suggestions?

I am also having this issue. also the calender will not display events I have 
just created for it.

Hi,
this is by far the best MW calendar extension I tested the last 4-6 weeks. The 
only issue is, its not really working on MW1.23+ !

The code in "addTemplate" isn't returning the events and this is because since 
MW 1.21 certain PHP calls have changed. I am not a PHP guru, so not really able 
to rewrite that part of the code. It would be really nice to update this cool 
extension to MW1.23+ .
