Modifying Android files without sudo #150

I have an issue similar to this: #95. I'm currently using Debian testing, but would be happy to switch to a different distribution if that will fix the issue.

I am using a 2013 Nexus 7 with 4.4.3, and I am trying to find a way to modify Android files without having to use sudo. I have set up the custom mount point so I am able to access the files, but any time I try to use vim, for example, it tells me the files are locked for editing. If I use sudo, I'm able to change the file just fine.

I've tried running chmod on the files, but the permissions don't change.

+1, lacks the ability to set the mount point options, or select the users/groups who will be have write access to sdcard.
