Hi,

OS: Windows 8.1

I can't login to MEGAsync. The app continues to show that it is "Logging in..." (and that is taking ages) and occasionally is showing something related to SSL.

I stopped my antivirus and it still shows SSL error and doesn't login.
I have never used your app. What's wrong with it?

BTW, which button should I click? Nothing works.

After I click on "I don't care" it just continues to show "Logging in..." message

What AV software are you using?

I'm using Kaspersky.
I tried both ways: to stop Kaspersky from scanning encrypted traffic (this is recommended on their forum) and closed Kaspersky, nothing works.

You can see on the first screenshot - the issuer is Google Internet Authority G2, not my antivirus.
I have no idea why I can't login.

It's because Google Internet Authority G2 replaced the standard SSL certificate. Thats a common thing for AV software. This breaks many things and is a really bad thing (IMHO). It seems, that this happened to you.
Also:

The Google Internet Authority G2 is now set to expire on Dec. 31, 2016."

I have similar problem.
I use windows 10 x64 (10.0.15063), COMODO Firewall 10.
Also i have Hyper-V with virtual switch and CISCO anyconnect client.
One hour spent on Logging In screen, and no error message..
Why connection timeout is so big? Would be good to show some helpful error message after 30-60 seconds. For example: cant connect to .... from network interface ...

So bad that i can't use my PRO subscription properly :(

Hi,

If you can reproduce it and you agree, please generate a debug log starting MEGAsync with Ctrl+Shift pressed. A notification should show that a MEGAsync.log file is being created in your desktop. Keep it during some time, then close MEGAsync and send the resulting file to support@mega.co.nz commenting that it's a log related to GitHub issue.

We will analyse the resulting log file to check the cause of the problem.
