Hey @Jackie365, Indeed, the new version of the engine, v0.21, has been split in two, the library and the http server that uses the library to answer user requests. You can look at the milli repository and look at some tests to see how you can use it. |

This question is a bit on the older side, but in case anyone else stumbles into it, I actually have finished a wrapper of milli supporting the most common features of Meilisearch here. It's not quite polished yet (I was learning Rust through making it), but it can serve as a basic reference implementation. I also wanted to mention that milli can be a bit confusing in some areas that you should watch out for when embedding it:
If my implementation does not cover all your questions, you can always look to Meilisearch's use of milli directly to figure out how to use milli (that's how I did it!). The test-cases in milli itself are a bit too specific for testing and don't give a great idea on how to use it for general use (lots of testing-specific constructs that are designed just for running tests). |
