When clicking on +/- a flickering with purple background is showed

If adding a pinch is too much work now, just handle the +/- so that it won't show purple background flickering

I can't repro this issue on 0.9.8.1 on HTC Mozart

i replaced the purple flickering color with White to make it easier on the eyes. I guess it's happening fast enough so you don't notice it on every device.

That would sound right. It just looks like its clearing and then re-drawing the whole screen.
