Такой код тяжелее читать:

Вот такое вопринимается гораздо быстрее:

mainLoop :: Client -> State -> Logger -> IO ()
mainLoop client state logger = do
      response <- receive client
     ....

Нэйминг надо поправить по всему проекту.
