Kids and visitors can break the dash because the can access the edit feature when they want to.
Describe the solution you'd like
A kiosk mode, maybe Password protected for use in public spaces.
Describe alternatives you've considered
When you place your finger on the touchscreen in a certain place for a certain time a popup appears, asking you if you want to leave kiok-mode. Could be password protected for in public spaces.

Like that yes. So the kids or wife cannot break the dash, but it can also be used in a public space.
I tought maybee a kiosk mode would be nice becaue that would also make it possible to remove the title bar and clean up the interface. To me it feels like it detracts a bit from the experience when an iPad is hung on the wall that I always see those two icons in the title bar on the right and that large arrow on the left. In a kiosk mode this could be nicely kept out of the picture.
but if kioskmode is not supported, maybe an other solution for this can be tought of.
