When the TV is off and then you issue a command to turn it on, the device is unresponsive for about 30 seconds. During this time, the Home app would display "not responding" and if you use Siri she would go "some of your devices are not responding". I thought this was strange because the TV would turn on fine, so I checked the logs:

Looks like during the turn on period the TV refuses connection for 30 seconds. I wonder if there's any way to fix this?

That is normal, the TV needs to boot and all the services needs to come up so it may take a while till the connection can be established.
Just as an info for me, what TV and what webOS version are you using?

From the logs I see that it does appear to be normal. I wonder if there'd be a workaround?

I have the EF9500, webOS 4.25.40

Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done since the TV hardware is already outdated and that is why it takes longer for all services to come up.
