Hi Michael,
first thanks for the great backup gem! I have added support for SQLite. Hope it is well enough implemented. It is mainly a copy of the mysql part of the backup gem.

Hi all! Sorry for the delay of a response.
Really appreciate the SQLite support. It's one of the oldest still open issues #99.

However, due to the fact that is has not been merged earlier it can now not be merged on the current HEAD. If someone is willing to rebase this code on the current master and resubmit it I will take a look at it. I do not have the time to do this myself unfortunately. If I do have enough time I will instead reimplement this in the future version 5 of the Backup gem. Thanks for understanding!
For now I'll close this issue.
