ERROR Refusing to create a new Framework ID while there are existing instances

Hi,
I am new to Mesos and Marathon env. Installed Marthon 1.9.136-1.el7, with MESOS, Zookeeper. First time I was able to bring up everything. But after trying to deploy application something went wrong and not able to deploy an application and getting error - ERROR Refusing to create a new Framework ID while there are existing instances. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Marathon, still not able to bring up the Marathon on master.

Question - How to clear Framework ID? What is the fix for this issue?

You just need to clear the state in zookeeper; look in /marathon Cheers, Tim

I also notice MESOS, on UI of MESOS master,--> Outstanding offers, nothing is there.

Hi Tim,
Thanks for help, you make my day. Remove directory version-2 from /var/lib/zookeeper/, restart zookeeper service, start marathon service has fixed the issue to bring up marathon.
Still I don't see any data on UI, Outstanding Offers. I can see agents are there. Again thanks for help, appreciate.

Le me add one more item, I forgot include, I have restarted mesos-master also after clearing zookeeper log and snapshot, then I am able to start marathon service.

The pattern, I have noticed is, I don't see any resources for Outstanding Offers, I can't run simple command echo hello; as a service and then it crash marathon. After clearing zookepper and restarting meos-master, I can bring up the marathon. So looks like, I need to fix why I don't see Outstanding Offers.

Notice following error message , looks like marathon stopping and starting again by itself.
ERROR Unhandled message in suspend: class mesosphere.marathon.core.launchqueue.impl.RateLimiterActor$Unsubscribe$ (mesosphere.marathon.core.leadership.impl.WhenLeaderActor:marathon-akka.actor.default-dispatcher-4)
Apr 1 15:19:45 systemd: marathon.service: main process exited, code=exited, status=103/n/a
