in section https://metacpan.org/pod/release/NKH/Data-HexDump-Range-0.13.59/scripts/hdr_examples.pod#dynamic-range-generation

the rendered colors are not the ones that are specified. This problem was reported previously for another platform. This time the platform is mac OSX, browser is Safari and Chrome. Attributes on_red is not rendered properly for example.

Again, this was reported and fixed a while ago.

Could you provide a screenshot that points out where the problem is?

Ahh, in the section after dynamic-range-generation, the ipv4_header? The problem is that we specify the following for .pod pre * in the metacpan css:

background: none !important;

which means that the "background" specified on your span elements gets overridden. This comes from shCore.css, which is a part of the syntax highlighter we use. maybe @monken (who added it) knows more about potential workarounds?

It looks like the style from the SyntaxHighlighter is being applied to that pre tag unnecessarily.
Should be fixable.
