Missing distributions

Once in a while I encounter a release that does not have a corresponding distribution.

Now I see the following two listed in the recent list:

https://metacpan.org/release/GBROWN/App-rdapper-0.5
https://metacpan.org/release/JAVONET/JavonetPerlSdk-v2.1.1

but these don't exist:

https://metacpan.org/dist/App-rdapper
https://metacpan.org/dist/JavonetPerlSdk

Is this a problem with the uploaded releases or some indexing issue at PAUSE or MetaCPAN?

It is a problem with the releases. They have not been indexed at PAUSE because they do not contain a module with the corresponding name of which permissions can be granted to the uploader.

Oh, I think I already asked this and I already got an explanation for this a while ago.

Thinking aloud for a second, If I am not mistake this can be considered a problem for two reasons

1. Some people or tools might incorrectly assume that there is such a distribution and link to e.g. (eg. my case with the CPAN-Digger)
2. There is no permalink this series of releases, only the links that include the version number.
