Overview

You can use boilerplates to create message templates for letters and emails, which you can also use in marketing campaigns, such as serial letter campaigns.

Steps

1. Open "Boiler Plate" from the menu.
2. Create a new boilerplate.
3. Give the boilerplate a Name.
4. Enter a Subject.
5. In the text box Text Snippet, enter a message text.
6. metasfresh saves the progress automatically.

Note:
By means of so-called context variables metasfresh can automatically retrieve individual document data and insert them into the corresponding places in the message. Context variables are opened and closed by symbols such as "@" or "%". For an example and important information on the use of email addresses within boilerplates, please see here.
