Properly clear selection on filtering

What is the current behavior?

There is no consistency in filtering lists of items with active selection. If we select items and apply filtering - some elements are rendered as selected, but actions for selected items are not displayed.

What is the expected or desired behavior?

Instead we should completely clear the selection and not render anything as selected after filtering.
