It looks like humanize does not work well with :multi dispatch, the following code always fails if object over which we are dispatching is nil:

(-> (m/explain [:map
                [:user [:multi {:dispatch :type}]]] {:user nil})
    (me/humanize))
;=>
;Execution error (IllegalArgumentException) at malli.error/-put (error.cljc:136).
;Key must be integer
