Contribution Guidelines

Any contribution to usbtemp-server is welcome and greatly appreciated!
But before doing anything, please read and follow these rules and guidelines:

  • Follow the code of conduct & keep it professional
    For any sort of contribution and/or participation to this repository and the project, the code of conduct must be accepted and followed.
    In short: everyone should feel welcome and accepted here.
    This does not mean that jokes and swearing/cursing is not allowed - just keep it civilized and respectful.

  • Use exclusively (American) English
    To make sure that everyone is able to understand any conversion and help out if necessary, please do not use any language other than English, more specifically American English. (text and source code is included)

  • Avoid Duplicates
    When creating new issues, pull requests or discussions, make sure that it doesn't already exist.
    Look for both open and closed issues/PRs.

  • Make use of GitHub Reactions
    Don't post comments solely consisting of "+1", "-1", "👍", "👎", etc.
    Instead, use GitHub reactions to "upvote" or "downvote" other issues, pull requests, discussions or comments.

  • Development Guides
    When submitting a pull request, make sure to read through and follow the Development Guidelines.
