License: MIT license should be okay
Visualizations: you need to distinguish the data type. Appropriate viz for images are post-hoc heatmaps, while for tabular and text data we should have a barplot, with covariates in decreasing order (display only the K most important variables/words)

Also, include in the main xi function the possibility of having a custom separation measurement specified by the user, possibly testing its validity (e.g. Reniy's 0-postulate and positivity)

About images and various data types: we should think about whether ask a design matrix - already structured - as input (easier!) or the raw data source. I think the former is better (more standardizable and easier to mantain)
