I use non-root CWC with CCTG (using the built-in ENF, no microG installed separately), so I start it from CCTG by selecting export. it comes up, says it is in microG mode and gives me the data at that moment.
In case I am not online with data (I'm usually not, no need), it says 0 Diagnoseschlüssel, Fehler während des Downloads.
In any case, once opened, it just displays the numbers statically that it saw at that moment.

Therefore my questions:

  • is there a way to trigger a refresh of the exposures, or do I have to close CWC, open CCTG, App-Info, ENF version, gesammelte IDs, select export to open CWC once more (when re-selecting microG mode from the triple-dot dropdown which is already selected, it seems to fall back to a different interface and says it could not get exposure data, so that doesn't work)
  • is there a way to trigger a retry of the diagnostic key download, after I enabled a data connection?
  • in CCTG, after clicking ENF version, I see the "EN aktivieren (switched on) Apps, die Exposure Notifications nutzen: Corona Tracing" - naively I would read this as a list of subscribers to ENF and would expect that after choosing CWC in the "exportieren" function, CWC gets added as a second app in this list and will work just by starting it b y itself in the future. Was this never intended, or does CWC just fail to register in the correct way for it to happen?

Many thanks in advance for answering, I try to point out unintuitive and unwieldy handling to help make this "app cooperation" better for all users. Thank you.

At the moment, you would have to export the RPIs once more, but this could probably be done via Android task switching, or the "back" mechanism?

CCTG subscribes to the microG API (ENF), and cannot get time details via this API.
Therefore, this app works differently: It reads the raw database of microG. This means that it will not be listed as a subscriber, though.
