(Opening issue for design/requirements discussion)

I'd like to have a notification inbox that I can tailor to my personal preferences.

  • I want to see notifications for all issues I've created
  • I should be able to mute issue comments, but be notified if I'm explicitly mentioned, or if certain people comment on it.
  • I should be able to unsubscribe from an issue thread altogether.
  • I would like to follow status changes for an issue (label changes, milestone changes, open/closed status change)
  • For some low-traffic repositories where I'm the owner or lead, I'd like to see all new issues that get added.
