http://code.google.com/p/android-notifier/source/browse/trunk/MacDroidNotifier/E
nglish.lproj/UI.xib
(this last one may be inconvenient to edit without apple's tools, if you're
willing to translate it I can extract the
strings, or just search for "NSContents" in it)

3 files in Russian you can find in attachments and UI.xib for MAC will be
later.

Some strings in this file contain base_64 UTF-8 encoded string but utf8
encoded already.

<stringkey="NSContents">Foreacheventtype,selectwhichactionstotake.</string>
<stringtype="base64-UTF8"key="NSContents">RXhlY3V0ZXM6IDxub3RoaW5nPg</string>

Can I insert Russian text without base64-UTF8 encoding into all Nodes?

$echo -n

base64 -d
Select which devices' notifications we'll care about.base64: invalid input

$ echo "Select which devices' notifications we'll care about." | base64
U2VsZWN0IHdoaWNoIGRldmljZXMnIG5vdGlmaWNhdGlvbnMgd2UnbGwgY2FyZSBhYm91dC4K

In the first sample program base64 finished with an error message: "invalid
input"
In the second sample I found "K" at the end of line.

I`m sorry for my terrible English.

Thanks!
For the Mac, I think it expects the file as UTF16 actually, but don't worry,
I'll convert the Localizable.strings.
For android, UTF8 is correct.

About UI.xib, I tried entering text in cyrillic in the editor, and it used
base64-UTF8. I'm not sure if that's
required, but it's how the editor does it. I'm attaching a screenshot of the
windows in that file, feel free to just
send me the translated strings and I'll insert them.

As a side note, the linux version has a nearly identical UI, so I'll reuse the
translation for that.

Also, please kindly let me know how you'd like me to include you in the credits
(just name, name and e-mail,
etc.)

Btw, it appears that some of the strings don't fit in the screen of the android
app, on low-resolution devices (see
attachments). Is it possible to make a shorter version of them?
Thanks

Thanks so much!

Notification actions is a part of the settings where you select what to do when
you receive a notification, like
displaying it, muting the audio, executing a script, etc.

There are a few strings missing from the translation - here's what I suppose
they should be, but please correct
me:
About MacDroidNotifier = O MacDroidNotifier
About = Об
Settings = Настройки
Check for updates = Обновления
Quit = Выход
Pairing with device = Сопряжение с устройством
Voicemail = голосовой почты

I have integrated it all in the app, should go into the next release. Please
let me know if those overflowing
strings can be made any shorter, in the Android app.

Hmm, I use grep for filtering file, maybe some strings filtered.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Notification actions=Действия при уведомлениях
About MacDroidNotifier = O MacDroidNotifier
About = О программе
Settings = Настройки
Check for updates = Проверить обновления
Quit = Выход
Pairing with device = Сопряжение с устройством
Voicemail = Голосовая почта (depending on the context)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
About overflowing strings.
Russian text is longer then english, and this problem happens in desktop
applications. I will try to do less of the lines, many apps has verflowing of
strings.

Cool, marking this as done. Thanks for all the work!
I'll be sure to use the same strings in the linux version.
