Version: 1.9-feature
Original reporter: Michael Sweet

In 1.8.23, the specified header is not shown on pages that contain a

-Tag, they said it is a feature not to display it because in books it was the sme... sounds strange, but...

My Question: Is there a possibility to disable this "feature" in 1.8.24?

Thanks,

Tom

No, we haven't changed this in 1.8.24; to get a header on the first page of a file/chapter you need to use web page mode.

It is fairly easy to change in the source - see htmldoc/ps-pdf.cxx in the pspdf_prepare_page() function.

I'll reassign this to 1.9 so the option is available there...

What do you mean by

because in books it was the sme...
?

What's "sme" ?

Is there a way I can get the header displayed in version 1.8.23 if I am able to replace the H1 tag to something else?
